Bunkers del Carmel, a remnant of the Spanish Civil War, is far less known than the two previous place on the map of panoramas (Montjuïc i Park Güell). In this area, it is unlikely to meet crowds of tourists, rather a group of young residents of Barcelona, who like to spend their time outdoors. For this reason, unfortunately, the place is not particularly well cared-for and sometimes is slightly cluttered. After all, it’s definitely not lacking in charm.
The easiest way to get to Bunkers is by car or V17 bus, which starts in Port Vell, you can also catch it on Via Laietana street in the centre. We drive it until the last stop, where, after a short walk (a few minutes) in a quiet, wooded area, we reach the Bunkers.
